Must-Have:
Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
IR experience is required.
Travel experience is required.
Every other holiday is required.
No on-call or weekends.
Description:
This position involves working in the IR/Cath Lab.
The tech will scrub for interventional, vascular, and pain procedures.
Proficiency in operating the Philips Azurion C-arm and the portable C-arm is required.
Procedures include tunneled catheter placements, embolizations, drain placements, and PEG tube placements.
Pain management procedures include epidural blocks and radiofrequency ablations.
Vascular procedures consist of angiograms, thrombectomies, and IVC filter placements.
The tech is required to go to the area where the IR/Cath Lab case is occurring.
They will float only with the team for a case, and this is rare.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on unit needs.
Strong teamwork and communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
