Description

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent experience within the last 7 years required. Must have completed a minimum of 1 travel assignment to be considered. License: Must have appropriate state license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT CI, ARRT VI, CCI RCIS. Must-Have: Must have prior travel assignment experience. Description: The Cath Lab Tech will work five days a week from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM. No on-call duties, weekends, or major holidays. The position involves performing diagnostic catheterizations and hemodynamic monitoring. Must have skills in left and right heart catheterization, permanent pacemaker insertion, and scrub procedures. Responsibilities include stocking supplies, circulating procedures, and insertion/programming of AICDs and devices. Experience with angioplasty, aortography, pelvic angiography, and stent placements is required. The candidate will provide accurate monitoring, prepare access sites, and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias. Will maintain a sterile field and adhere to sterile technique in all procedures. The role involves working with adult and geriatric patient populations and diagnosing conditions such as CAD and PVD. Candidates should be familiar with various special procedures, including interventional peripheral and diagnostic cardiovascular applications. Strong teamwork and communication skills are critical for success in this role.
