Description:
CATH LAB TECH required for a 4x10 Day shift.
Local candidates accepted within a 60-mile radius.
Certifications required include BLS and ACLS.
Candidates must have CCI RCIS or ARRT R certification.
If the traveler has ARRT certification, a Maryland State License is required.
Experience in interventional cath, cardiac stent placement, scrub, right and left heart catheterization is necessary.
Skills in rotablader, thrombectomy, stents, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty are required.
Preferred skills include knowledge of Cerner, acute monitoring, room circulating, ACIST, Watchman procedures, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR.
Call is required for 1 to 2 weeknight shifts and 3-24 hour weekend shifts per month.
Candidates must possess accurate monitoring skills and experience with interventional cardiac cath lab procedures.
Additional skills should include left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions, right heart catheterization, and thrombectomy.
Experience with special equipment such as Phillips and Mac Lab is preferred.
Candidates must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum score of 80% overall.
