Description:
RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly result in a cancellation.
For this unit, techs start directly on the unit on Mondays until they complete their training.
Traveler experience is not required.
Locals are accepted with a rate difference.
Required skills include performing EKG lead placement.
Certifications preferred include ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, and RCIS with medical experience.
The unit will accept contracts for 13-20 weeks.
Expect urgent and emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures.
Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs.
Call requirements include a minimum of 7 call days per month.
Typical schedule consists of two call days per week for two weeks each month.
Each staff member is expected to work one call weekend per month.
The team consists of three staff members, including one RN.
No floating is required among units.
Weekend requirement is every third weekend.
Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.
Patient diagnoses involve vice implants such as PPM and ICD.
This is a combination lab, with an approximate 90% focus on IR procedures.
Technicians will assist providers in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Medication administration is performed by RN only.
There is no holiday RTO for this role.
Techs are expected to float within or near the facility per job description.
Completion of required modules is necessary before starting work.
Pre-start modules are non-billable.
All required testing must be completed promptly.
