Key Responsibilities of the Catheterization Laboratory Technologist- Prepare the lab and operate essential equipment including fluoroscopy imaging and digital image acquisition
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and hemodynamic measurements
- Maintain aseptic techniques and patient safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency
- Act as a radiation safety representative during X-ray usage
- Perform fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition as appropriate
- Participate in daily room checks and ensure equipment operational status
Requirements of the Catheterization Laboratory Technologist- Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- ACLS and PALS certification required (AHA only)
- State licensure required based on modality
