Special Procedures Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Special Procedures Technologist to join our team. This role involves providing excellent patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Schedule

  • Day Shift: Options include 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, or 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM
  • On-call responsibilities after hours and every other weekend
  • Two weeknight shifts per week

Location

Montebello, CA

Education and Work Experience

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience: Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent: Preferred
  • Three years of technical experience: Preferred
  • Experience as a Special Procedures Technologist: Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification: Preferred
  • Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice: Required
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
  • Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification: Required
  • Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification: Required
  • Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification: Required
