License: Degree in related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or equivalent years of experience required. Certifications: BLS & ACLS, RCIS / ARRT required. Must-Have: Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Effective interpersonal skills. Description: The Cath Lab technician works in a multidisciplinary lab. They support patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures. They perform scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment. They apply prescribed procedures for the operation of radiology imaging equipment. The position includes a call requirement for 24-hour STEMI accepting facility. On-call days are based on the need for facility coverage. There are approximately 10-15 monthly on-call days, including two weekends.
