Cath Lab Tech

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Cath Lab environment and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care within a dynamic team setting.

Work Schedule

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36-40 hours

Unit Specifics

Number of Beds: 86
Type of Equipment: GE
Documentation System: Expanse
Floating Policy: May float to ER during patient surges

Patient Experience Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience or 2 years in a high-volume lab

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, including Heart Catheterizations and Pacemaker Implants
Assist with imaging procedures as necessary
Support STEMI PCI program and respond to emergency situations

Qualifications

Required Certifications: RT, RCIS, BLS
Advanced Skills: ACLS, STEMI PCI experience, IVUS experience, Balloon Pump, Penumbra
New equipment and technology available in the unit

Dress Code

Hospital scrubs are required.

Additional Information

This unit primarily focuses on Cardiac procedures with some low-level Electrophysiology, and occasionally assists with Interventional Radiology when needed. Our staff is experienced and dedicated to delivering high-quality patient services.
