GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Newnan, Georgia.
Join a leading healthcare facility in Newnan, GA, as a Cath Lab Tech specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures. This is a contract position offering a unique schedule that includes both 4x10 hour days and 5x8 hour days. We welcome experienced professionals who are ready to contribute to our team.
SCHEDULE: 5 weeks at 4/10 hr days (7:00-17:30) followed by 1 week at 5/8 hour days (8:00-16:30) and then back to 4/10s. This schedule allows for a 4-day weekend every 6 weeks.
WEEKEND: Included in call requirements.
CALL: 12-14 days in a 6-week period, including 1-2 weekends; must stay within 30 minutes of the facility.
FLOATING: Within facility/scope of practice as needed.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years; the unit accepts first-time travelers.
CLINICAL SCREEN: Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine fit. If clinically approved and within guidelines, candidates will be sent to the manager for a final decision. Clinical screens will be conducted on a case-by-case basis.
RTO: Maximum of 7 days.
HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. For three major holidays, the traveler must work two. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.
COMPLIANCE: Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant, the start may be pushed back by 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Locals are accepted at the same rate.
Please note: The number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment; 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).
