GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Columbia, South Carolina.
About the Position
Position / Specialty: Cath Lab Tech
Shift: Rotating 4x10-hour Day Shifts (07:00 - 17:30 & 09:30 - 20:00) but varies as we stay until procedures are complete. All team members rotate the shifts but not from day to day. For example, I wouldn't schedule someone 9:30-8 today and then have them 7-5:30 tomorrow. I would lump all their 9:30-8 shifts together into one week to keep some consistency, but then the following week they may be on 1st shift.
Daily Caseload per tech: We run 4 to 5 labs per day with 2-3 CVT per lab. Case load is around 20-25 cases per day.
On-call Requirements: Yes, call requirements are one weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) per 7 weeks and a call shift and evening shift every week. Call requirements may change based on staffing needs. Holidays as Needed.
Floating Requirements: No, travelers will not float between service lines.
Required/Preferred Years of Experience: 2+ years of experience. First-timers accepted.
National Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process). Must have SC license (SCRQSA). Radiation Badge Required: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; the facility does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers.
BLS Required: Yes.
Special Requirements: Cath Lab Experience. Proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor.
Miscellaneous: Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires manager's approval upon request, dependent on unit's needs. Local Radius: 60-mile radius rule. Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate.
RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs.
Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift.
