Description: The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for scrubbing in procedures. The unit includes 4 rooms, accommodating 1 patient per room. The staff consists of 22 individuals, including RNs and Techs. During the day shift, there is a director and manager along with a minimum of 3 staff members per room. On the night shift, an on-call team of 4 staff members handles STEMI calls. The patient-to-staff ratio is 1:1. All equipment used in the lab is GE. Documentation is managed through Meditech and MacLab systems. There are call requirements with a maximum of 15 days during critical periods. Typical procedures performed include cardiac catheterizations, cerebellar angiograms, stent placements, balloon procedures, and ENT lab procedures. Candidates should be adaptable to a fast-paced environment and capable of working independently. Scrub colors are surgical scrubs, provided by the unit.
