Location: Cardiac Cath Lab, Houston, TX

General Information:

• Number of Beds: 3 Rooms
• Number of Staff: 11
• Type of Staff:
  • Day Shift: 1 Charge, 3 Technologists, 3 Nurses (4/10 hour shifts)
  • Night Shift: 3 On-call Staff
• Patient Ratios: 3 staff per case
• Type of Equipment: Philips, Siemens
• EMR: MERGE Hemo and Meditech Expanse

Qualifications

Skill Set Required:

• Must Have: Interventional experience
• Preferred:
  • Electrophysiology (EP)
  • Interventional Radiology (IR)

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Electrophysiology Study (EPS)
• Pulmonary Vein Isolation (PVI)
• Permanent Pacemaker (PPM)
• Left and Right Heart Catheterization (LT and RT HC)
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Interventional Radiology (IR) and Vascular Procedures

Personality Fit

• Willingness to educate and mentor junior staff

Certifications

Required Certifications:

• ARRT
• RCIS
• BLS
• ACLS

Dress Code

• Attire: Surgical scrubs provided

On Call and Weekend Requirements

• On Call Availability: At least 10 shifts per month
