Description:
This position is for a Travel Cath Lab Tech.
The unit has 2 Cath lab rooms and an EP holding area.
The patient ratios are 1-1 or 2-1.
The unit staff includes a director, charge RN, techs, and RNs.
Key equipment used includes GE fluoroscopy, Mac Lab, Acist, Volcano, IVUS, Angiojet, and Penumbra.
The documentation systems utilized are Mac Lab and Medi tech.
There is an on-call rotation for scheduling.
Staff may float to holding, EP lab, or other areas within their scope of practice.
The unit performs various procedures including TAVR, Watchman, PCI, peripherals, Impella, and balloon pump.
Required attire is scrubs that align with the hospital's dress code policy.
