Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Des Moines, Iowa. The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) professional will provide specialized procedural support, including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring responsibilities. The role requires current cardiac catheterization experience, flexibility to float across campuses, and participation in scheduled on-call coverage.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: At least 24 months of current Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) experience; active Iowa or compact/multistate license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross; scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring experience; Trauma Level II experience; willingness to precept as needed.
- Preferred Qualifications: Structural heart experience, electrophysiology experience, travel experience, and Trauma Level I experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: On-call coverage includes one to two nights per week and every third weekend from Friday evening through Monday morning. Assigned cases may occur occasionally, and coverage of one to two of the three upcoming winter holidays may be required unless the unit is closed. Orientation dates are scheduled for 11/23/2026, 11/30/2026, 12/07/2026, and 12/14/2026.
