Start Date: November 9, 2026 – 13 Weeks

End Date: February 6, 2027

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Shift: 4 × 10-hour shifts per week

On-Call Requirements: Required — 12 days per month, including 4 weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday).
Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly
Orientation Pay: 50%

Radius Rule: Must be 50 miles away from the facility 
 

Please note that the pay schedule is bi-weekly and during orientation, you will be paid 50% of your pay rate.

Position Overview 

Saint Francis Medical Center is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) nursing. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures, providing specialized cardiovascular care, and monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures.

Responsibilities 

• Assess patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient responses throughout procedures.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Administer medications and provide nursing interventions according to established protocols.
• Monitor patients for complications and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Maintain sterile techniques and follow radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Document patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and the cardiovascular care team to ensure patient safety.
• Participate in required on-call coverage, including weekends.
• Follow hospital policies and established standards of nursing practice.

Qualification/Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous Cath Lab nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required.
• Strong cardiovascular assessment and patient monitoring skills.
• Ability to assist with cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Willingness to work four 10-hour day shifts per week.
• Must be available for 12 on-call days per month, including 4 weekend days.
• Must understand and agree to the on-call requirements before submission.
