Job Breakdown – ICU Registered Nurse (ICU RN)
- Position: ICU Registered Nurse
- Location: Sioux City, Iowa
- Facility: UPH (UnityPoint Health; exact facility name not specified)
- Setting: Acute Care – Level III Trauma Center
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM listed
- Hours: 5 × 8-hour shifts
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
- EMR: EPIC
- Experience: 2+ years required
- Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted
- Local Rule: No candidates within 50 miles of the facility, based on driver's license address
Required License & Certifications
- Active Iowa RN license or compact nursing license
- BLS – AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates accepted
- ACLS – AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates accepted
Call & Weekend Requirements
- On-call: 10–12 days per month
- Weekend coverage: Shared among team members
- Call pay: $9/hour
- Call-back pay: 1.5× multiplier, with a 2-hour minimum
- Overtime/holiday multiplier: 1.15×
- Charge/preceptor pay: $6/hour
Holiday Requirements
The traveler must work 2 of these 3 holidays:
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day
- New Year's Day
Time-off restriction:
- Only one day off request is allowed between November 25–29 and December 23–27.
