Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts available: 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 18:30) or 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a strong background in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience and will be required to start on November 2, 2026. This role involves performing various cardiac procedures and providing comprehensive care in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterizations.
Monitor and manage patient sedation and vital signs during procedures.
Perform sheath removal and ensure proper post-procedure care.
Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias.
Participate in call rotation, including weekday and weekend duties, with a response time of less than 30 minutes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience.
Valid NY State Nursing License.
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
Familiarity with telemetry assessment and rhythm interpretation.
