Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cath Lab position requiring cardiovascular or critical care experience and ACLS certification.

Details

• Cardiac Catheterization unit setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift schedule from 07:00-15:30

Requirements

• Active RN license (NJ or Compact) required
• BSN preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required
• Minimum one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care setting required
• Workplace Violence Prevention certification (DCI/BVP) required
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care addressing psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of the surgical environment
• Communicate continuously with physicians regarding patient condition
• Assist with equipment maintenance, inventory, and procedure room readiness
• Monitor and record physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
