Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring EPIC experience and a CA RN license.

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab unit of an acute care hospital
• Variable shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• EPIC experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS or ALS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)
• Minimum three years of recent experience in Cath Lab specialty required, with experience within the last three months
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• No candidates with a prior disciplinary action on their license will be considered

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care plans
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and caring treatment environments
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
• Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
• No radius rule applies; local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
• Travelers may only be placed at one hospital within the health system at a time
