Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Cath Lab position requiring 2 years of cath lab experience and current BLS/ACLS certification.

Details

  • Cath Lab unit setting
  • 1:1 patient ratio
  • STEMI patients and cardiac procedures including diagnostic and interventional heart caths, pacemaker and AICD implants, loop recorders, impellas, balloon pumps, TEEs, cardioversions, and tilt tables
  • Uses IV pumps, groin and radial sheaths, impellas, balloon pumps, IVUS, ultrasound, fluoro, Zoll monitor, and hemodynamic system equipment
  • Epic charting required
  • Schedule: 8a-4:30p, Monday-Friday
  • STEMI call required a minimum of one day per week and every 4th weekend

Requirements

  • Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of cath lab RN experience
  • Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN)
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Peripheral IV access skills required
  • Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility

Additional Information

  • Perform patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
  • Provide patient and family centered care and education throughout treatment and at discharge
  • Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff, serving as a mentor and preceptor
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and organizational needs
  • Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives
  • Comply with regulatory standards and practice governance model
