Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced EP Lab RN with at least 2 years of electrophysiology experience and OH or compact RN licensure for a Cath Lab/EP position.

Details

• Work in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab of a hospital environment
• Perform specialized cardiac procedures including cardiac implant closure devices, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction, arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, AICD insertion/programming, LAA closure, and pacemaker insertion
• Utilizes Epic EMR
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities of 1 week every 2 months

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• EP Lab experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a Manager/Director or Supervisor and the second acceptable from a Charge RN; no coworker references accepted

• First time travelers are welcome to apply for this position
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more
• Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location
• RTO must be submitted and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting requirements urgently upon signing the contract
