Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring hemodynamic monitoring and interventional procedure skills with on-call availability.

Details

Work in the Cath Lab department of an acute care hospital
Floating to the Recovery unit as needed
Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Every 3rd weekend required
On-call requirement
40 hours per week

Requirements

Active WI or compact RN license (pending accepted at submission, must be obtained during compliance)
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (NIHSS may be pending at submission but must be completed during compliance)
Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
Epic charting experience preferred
Proficiency with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, including left/right heart catheterization and PCI
Experience with IABP placement/removal and Impella insertion
Experience with pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction and cardiac stent placement
Experience monitoring pulmonary artery lines/Swan Ganz catheters
Experience with Rotablator atherectomy and cardiac implant closure devices

Additional Information

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
Monitor hemodynamic status and manage procedural sedation
Experience with vascular closure systems, sheath removal, and topical hemostasis agents
Experience with EP procedures, TEE, valvuloplasty, VAD insertion, and Watchman procedures is a plus
Experience with GI and genitourinary procedures is a plus
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
