PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Olympia Fields, Illinois.

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab RN for a travel assignment within a Cardiology department. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to adult and geriatric populations undergoing cardiovascular procedures, with a strong focus on safety, comfort, and successful patient outcomes. Relevant clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care setting is required.

Assignment Details

  • Shift: Days, 0800-1630 + call rotation
  • On-call requirement every 2-3rd weekend, 1-3/week
  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2700 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional patient care throughout all cardiovascular procedures.
  • Address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians, providing updates and communication regarding patient status.
  • Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring equipment readiness.
  • Manage supplies and inventory for efficient workflow.
  • Monitor and interpret physiologic and hemodynamic data during procedures.
  • Continuously assess and document patient condition.
  • Support quality initiatives and participate in performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License
  • Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certification upon hire
  • At least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care environment

Preferred:

  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN)

PEL/VIP Job ID #65385073. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
