Maximum Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Illinois.
• Specialty: Cath Lab RN
• Shift: Days
o 3x12s or 4x12s
o 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Average Daily Census: 25 patients
• Unit Size: 5 procedure rooms
Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Active Illinois RN License required at time of submission
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Must be willing to float within scope as needed
• EMR: Cerner experience required
Scheduling
• 2–3 weekends required per contract
• On-call required as needed
• Schedule requests may be discussed with the manager
• RTO: Ideally no more than 5 days
Required Clinical Experience
• Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Circulating procedures
• Adult diagnostic catheterizations
• Left heart catheterization
• Right heart catheterization
• Pulmonary Artery (Swan-Ganz) monitoring
• Procedural sedation administration
• Procedural sedation monitoring
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Monitoring patients under procedural sedation
