Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with EP experience for a Level I Trauma facility, requiring FL or compact licensure and on-call availability.

Details

• Cath Lab unit assignment with 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30a-6p Monday through Friday
• On-call required on both weekdays and weekends
• Cardiac Cath Level I Trauma setting
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required in hand
• BLS and ACLS certification via AHA required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum two years recent Cath Lab experience required
• EP experience required
• Cardiac Cath Level I Trauma experience required
• Ability to Circulate required; Scrub experience preferred
• Skilled in administration/monitoring of procedural sedation, diagnostic right & left heart cath, interventional cath, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring
• Epic EMR experience required
• Degree required from an accredited school or FBON-approved institution
• Two years of recent, consecutive acute care experience within the past 24 months in a US hospital required
• Must pass a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks

Additional Information

• Must report to the lab within 72 hours of signing
• Smoke-free facility
• Permanent employees must be separated from the facility for one year before returning as a traveler
• Candidates from Operation Nightingale schools not accepted
• Pass/fail EKG testing required, including a basic arrhythmia assessment
• Locals considered within a 60-mile radius at a lower rate
• First-time travelers may be considered
