GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Macon, Georgia.
Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Cath Lab Registered Nurse in Macon, GA. This contract position in the Cardiac Cath Lab offers a dynamic environment with three Cath Labs and two EP Labs. As part of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting in various cardiac procedures.
Unit Details: The facility operates three Cath Labs and two EP Labs. Weekend call requirements include one weekend per month and 1-2 weekdays per week. Floating within the facility and to Piedmont Macon North Hospital may be required as needed.
Minimum Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required, as the unit does not accept first-time travelers. Candidates will undergo a clinical screen to determine their clinical fit. If the candidate passes the clinical screen and meets the facility's guidelines, they will be sent to the manager for a final decision.
Time Off (RTO): A maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. For three major holidays, the traveler is expected to work at least two. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.
Compliance: Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant in time, the start date may be pushed back by two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Locals are accepted at the same rate. Please note that the number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by the contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment; 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).
