Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with EP experience for a Level I Trauma facility, requiring on-call availability and a FL/compact license.

Details

• Cath Lab unit with Level I Trauma cardiac cases
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:30a-6p
• On-call required including weekdays and weekends
• Circulating required, scrubbing preferred
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Minimum two years of recent Cath Lab experience required
• EP experience required
• Level I Trauma cardiac cath lab experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification via AHA required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Experience with procedural sedation administration/monitoring
• Experience with diagnostic right and left heart catheterization
• Experience with interventional cath procedures
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring
• Epic EMR experience required
• Degree from an accredited school required, or degree from an FBON-approved institution with two years of recent consecutive US acute care experience within the past 24 months
• Successful completion of Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening required, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks and abuse registry review

• Responsible for circulating and, when qualified, scrubbing in for cardiac catheterization and EP procedures

• Locals accepted within a 60-mile radius at a lower rate
• Former Broward Health permanent employees must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Candidates from Operation Nightingale schools are not accepted
• Pass/fail EKG and basic arrhythmia competency testing required prior to starting first shift
