Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring cardiac catheterization experience and ACLS/BLS certification.

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab department of a hospital environment
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures for adult patients
• Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Assignment length of 13 weeks

Requirements

• Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization required
• Experience with pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring required
• Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring required
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Charting system experience required (any EMR)
• 2 references required from a direct supervisor, manager, ANM, or director for the unit at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization care including monitoring of procedural sedation and dysrhythmia management
• EKG and pharmacology testing required during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts each and no remediation for retesting
• Required orientation modules must be completed prior to start and annually thereafter
• Strict do-not-call-in policy in effect at this facility

• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration and will not be reviewed if submitted afterward
• Previous permanent or per diem staff must wait 1 year from their last end date before returning to this facility
