GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Columbia, South Carolina.
About the Position
Position / Specialty: Cath Lab RN
Shift: Rotating 4x10-hour Day Shifts (07:00 - 17:30 & 09:30 - 20:00) but varies as we stay until procedures are complete. All team members rotate the shifts but not from day to day. For example, I wouldn't schedule someone 9:30-8 today and then have them 7-5:30 tomorrow; I would lump all their 9:30-8 shifts together into one week to keep some consistency, but then the following week they may be on 1st shift.

Is on-call REQ? Yes, call requirements are one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month and a call shift one weekday every week. Call requirements may change based on staffing needs.

Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2 years of experience
First-timers accepted: Yes
License REQ: SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
National Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS
Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; the facility does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers.
Special Requirements: EP/Cath experience required
Miscellaneous: Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires manager's approval upon request, dependent on unit's needs. Local Radius: 60-mile radius rule. Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less the posted bill rate.
RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs.
Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift.
Hospital Highlights: Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital. Total Staffed Beds: 304. Scrub Color: Cath Lab - Hospital Issued Scrubs. Charting: Epic. Parking Cost: Downtown parking lots require a parking pass which we distribute at badge pickup. There is no fee to park. Parking lots and garages available. Garages clearance is only for average SUV truck.
Hurricane Season: Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
