Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring prior Cath Lab RN experience and a CA RN license.

Details

  • Work in the Cath Lab unit of a hospital environment
  • 13-week assignment
  • Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • On-call responsibilities include one night per week and one weekend every 5 weeks
  • Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license (Temporary or Permanent, no EMSA) in hand at time of consideration
  • Current certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Prior Cath Lab RN experience required
  • Minimum 1.5 years continuous experience in specialty required
  • Minimum 1 year total travel nursing experience required, with 6+ months continuous travel experience immediately preceding consideration
  • EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months required
  • 1 supervisory level professional reference required
  • Interview availability required, including same day and next 3 business days preferred

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside outside a 100-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
  • Candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months or more are considered local and not eligible
  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
  • Returning travelers and former permanent staff must wait 1 year before reapplying
  • Maximum 7 days of RTO permitted, with no additional RTO requests after consideration
  • Float requirements may apply depending on facility needs, including to other campuses or locations
