Position Details
- Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician
- Facility: Flowers Hospital, Dothan, Alabama
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Shift: Days, 5x8s (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), Monday–Friday
Schedule and Requirements
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of Cardiac and Peripheral Cath Lab experience
- Experience scrubbing, monitoring, and operating X-ray equipment during procedures
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent certification
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- ARRT or RCIS
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent certification
Key Responsibilities
- Assist cardiologists during cardiac and peripheral catheterization procedures
- Perform scrubbing, X-ray imaging, and patient monitoring during procedures
- Prepare and maintain Cath Lab equipment and sterile field
- Ensure timely completion of imaging studies
- Apply critical thinking and clinical judgment during interventional procedures
- Maintain patient safety and accurate procedural documentation
