Cath Lab / IR Tech
Unit: Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology
Care Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Shift: Days, 10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Call: Required (Weekdays & Every Other Weekend)
Minimum Requirements
ARRT (R)
Fluoroscopy License
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
Scrub experience required
Experience

Prior travel experience preferred
Experience in both diagnostic and interventional procedures

Left & Right Heart Catheterizations

Contrast administration

PICC Line Placement

Call Requirements
Evening call 1–2 times per week
Call begins after scheduled shift
30-minute response time
Every other weekend call
Weekend call is 24-hour coverage (6:30 AM – 6:30 AM)
Unit Details
3 Cath/IR Suites
Average 8–10 cases per day
No floating required
One shift of department orientation
Holiday rotation: One major and one minor holiday
