Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with adult coronary, structural heart, and vascular procedure experience for a 13-week contract.

Details

  • Cardiac Cath Lab setting performing interventional and diagnostic left heart caths
  • Right heart caths with and without biopsy
  • Structural heart cases including TAVR, Mitraclip, PFO, ASD repair, and Watchman
  • Vascular cases including peripheral run-offs, EVARs, and TEVARs
  • 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week from 0700-1700
  • On-call requirement of approximately 4-6 shifts per 4-week period, split between primary and secondary call teams
  • Weekend on-call rotation approximately once every 4 weeks, though this can vary
  • No floating requirement
  • Holiday coverage as needed based on unit needs

Requirements

  • Cath Lab experience required with adult coronary, structural heart, and vascular case exposure
  • ARRT (R), RCVT, or RCIS certification required
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • License required if applicable
  • New graduates not accepted

Additional Information

  • Facility is nicotine-free
  • Client may cancel up to two shifts per month at no cost and no pay to the employee, with a minimum of 2 hours notice
  • Credentials due the Monday one week prior to start date
  • CBC, drug screen, and lab work must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance
  • Attend a 2-day facility orientation on Monday and Tuesday of the first week
  • Biweekly pay schedule
  • Local and travel candidates accepted at the same bill rate, except for the Great Bend campus which has a 60-mile radius requirement
