Description

American Traveler is hiring a Case Management RN for a Level II Trauma Center, requiring acute care case management experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

  • Acute care hospital setting within the Case Management department
  • Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds across two campuses
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
  • Every other weekend required
  • Float requirement between Colby and Pacific campuses (less than 2 miles apart)
  • Patient ratio of 1:25-30
  • Uses Epic charting system
  • AIDA EMR experience preferred

Requirements

  • Active WA RN license or compact license required at time of submission
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care case management experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Discharge planning and care coordination experience required
  • Diverse case management experience across Med Surg, LLOS, and ED strongly preferred
  • ICU and ED specialty experience preferred
  • 2 references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years, including charge RNs or leads
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include care coordination, discharge planning, needs assessment, DME ordering, and plan of care development in accordance with CMS regulations
  • Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • Scrubs of any color permitted except reddish orange
  • Facility-paid parking provided
  • All RTO requests must be submitted with the application; post-submission RTO requests may not be accommodated
  • Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
  • Local candidates are not accepted
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius
  • Candidates must disclose any prior work history at Providence facilities, including permanent, travel, or per-diem roles
