Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Case Manager – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Eureka, California – Northern California coastal region

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30), every other weekend required. Case load up to 25 patients. Floating between units based on departmental needs.

Requirements:

  • Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital case management experience required
  • Current case management experience within the last year (required)
  • Experience with HMOs, IPAs, advance directives, POLST, and protective services processes
  • Proficiency with Epic charting system required
  • Strong background in discharge planning, care coordination, DRG, and prior authorizations
  • Knowledge of CMS guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and Joint Commission standards
  • First-time travelers accepted with clinical approval; travel experience preferred
  • Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
