Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Case Manager – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:30), with exact shift times subject to variation. Every other weekend or 4 weekend days in a 4-week schedule required. Guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week period.

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 30 patients with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services
  • Utilize Epic charting system in a 407-bed acute care hospital with a daily census of 324 patients
  • Collaborate across all patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics in a dynamic case management environment
  • 91-day assignment with potential for extension after 3-month break period
  • Free parking and scrubs provided

Requirements:

  • Active Alaska RN license required at time of offer
  • Minimum 1-2 years of acute care hospital experience required (behavioral health experience does not qualify)
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • BLS certification preferred
  • ACM (Accredited Case Manager) certification preferred
  • Experience with discharge planning, medical necessity determination, appeals and denials, and utilization of InterQual or Milliman guidelines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Teams preferred
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
