Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager with acute care and prior travel experience for an 8-hour day shift position requiring a FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Case Management/Utilization Review role within an acute care hospital setting
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 shifts per week with a guaranteed 40 hours weekly
• Deferred schedule type
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required, with a recent Nursys report on file
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Case Manager experience required
• Acute care experience required
• Prior travel nurse experience required
• Nursing degree accreditation documentation required, or 5+ years of experience in lieu of accreditation documentation
• Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing

Additional Information

• Travelers are expected to integrate fully with core staff and actively participate in unit culture
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to qualify for travel positioning, with strict enforcement including property ownership checks
• No block scheduling requests accommodated
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as RTO will not be approved after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit to the facility for badge/ID
• Required documentation includes SS card, driver's license, and proof of COVID/flu vaccination status
• Candidates should be flexible, team-oriented, and willing to float as needed
• Candidates must be prepared to secure full-time housing in the area rather than commute from a distant residence
