Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for a readmission initiative in the ED, requiring 2 years of case management experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Case management role supporting an ED readmission initiative
• 8-hour day shift schedule, 11a-7p, 5 days per week
• 40 guaranteed hours weekly
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of case management experience required
• Acute care experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Degree accreditation must be documented, or candidate must have 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation documentation
• Recent Nursys verification required
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Documentation required for consideration: SS card, DL, COVID and Flu vaccination records

Additional Information

• Support hospital readmission reduction efforts through case management duties in the ED
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility; radius rule is strictly enforced and includes property ownership checks
• Candidates must be willing to secure full-time local housing rather than commute from a distant permanent residence
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to consideration; no RTO approvals after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge/ID
• Hard document deadline is the Monday before start date, with no exceptions for pending documentation
• Strong team culture; travelers are expected to integrate and function as core staff
• Flexibility and a team-oriented approach are highly valued by the facility
• First-time travelers may be considered if they meet experience requirements
