Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN Case Manager for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring an active OR RN license and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

  • 42-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting treating stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury patients
  • Utilization Review/Case Management unit
  • Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Every other weekend rotation required
  • No on-call requirements
  • No floating requirements
  • Patient ratios of 5:1 RN/LPN and 7:1 CNA
  • Adult patient population with some geriatric and rehab patients
  • Uses Epic and Pyxis systems

Requirements

  • Active OR RN license required on hand
  • BLS certification required
  • AHA certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required, no new graduates
  • IRF and Med-Surg experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • No long-term care experience accepted

Additional Information

  • Scrubs of any color permitted
  • Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
  • Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
  • First-time travelers and new grads will not be considered for this position
