Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN Case Manager for an acute care setting requiring 2+ years of case management experience and active FL or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • 12-hour evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, 3 shifts per week
  • Every other week includes one additional 8-hour shift (11:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
  • Floating to sister campuses required, with travelers prioritized for floating assignments
  • No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active FL or compact RN license required, with Nursys verification on profile
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of Case Management experience required
  • Acute care experience required
  • Nursing degree accreditation must be verified, or candidate must have 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation documentation
  • Required documents include SSN card, driver's license, and COVID/Flu vaccination records
  • Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict verification of this requirement including property records
  • Candidates cannot own or cosign property within the 50-mile radius
  • Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge/ID
  • All requested time off must be submitted prior to starting and will not be approved after submission
  • Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documentation
  • Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate fully into the unit culculture
  • No block scheduling requests accommodated
  • Local candidates are accepted provided they meet the radius and housing requirements
