Express Healthcare Staffing Illinois is seeking a travel nurse RN Case Management for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois.
**Must have IL license to be considered. NO compact license!*
Department: CM (Case Management), Case Manager &/or UR (Utilization Review)
Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
Registered Nurse License or Social Worker Licens (LSW) or Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW) in the state of Illinois
Required skills & experience: Will need at least 2 years of experience, Preferred healthcare setting experience, discharge planning, care coordination in acute hospital setting. Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft software, Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excelent interpersonal and verbal/ written communication and the ability to interact with diverse populations. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of acute and post acute levels of care and resources.
- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) Mon- Fri 8-4:30
- Weekend Requirements: Possible ability to call if have questions, but can be flexible with this as well.
- Holiday Requirements : No holidays required
- Scrub Color/Dress Code Scrubs or business casual- no colors
- RT for DC Planning? will need to set up vent facilities at times
- Pharmacy for DC Planning? determine pharmacy used at discharge- resources for anticoagulants- will set up IV antibiotics per home infusion or outpatient; Dialysis referrals
- Department Specific Orientation Will orient to facility and different areas as well as with regulatory requirements and Case Manager- orientation will be dependent on if has experience in a LTAC or Rehab. Will need to just go over regulatory requirements if no experience
