Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN Case Manager for an 8-hour day shift position requiring 2 years of case management experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Case Management department setting
• 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:40 PM
• 13-week assignment with 40 guaranteed hours weekly
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license with Nursys verification on file
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Case Manager experience required
• Degree from an accredited nursing program or 5 years of experience required
• Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing

Additional Information

• Clinical prescreen required with final interview and offer decision made by the hiring manager
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict enforcement including property ownership checks
• Candidates must be willing to commute consistently and are expected to secure full-time housing in the area rather than travel home between shifts
• No block scheduling requests accommodated
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application, as time off will not be approved after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit to the facility for badge and ID
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to the start date with no exceptions for pending documentation
• Travelers are integrated into the unit and expected to function as core staff
