Description

Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Allied Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8hr Day Shift - Monday through Friday Hours per Shift: 12:30 PM - 9 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: BLS required, ACLS preferred Certifications: National certification not required, but one of the following is required: RCS, RDCS, or ACS (Advanced Cardiac Sonographer) Must-Have: BLS required, TTE/Stress Echo skills required Description: We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer. The role involves performing cardiac diagnostics, including advanced TTE, TEE, and Stress Echo studies. You will conduct Dobutamine Stress Echo studies, chemotherapy evaluations, and transplant evaluations. A strong understanding of TTE with color and doppler is essential. Experience with ultrasound enhancement agents such as UEA Definity/Optison is preferred. Knowledge of advanced imaging in accordance with standards is needed, including LV Global Strain and agitated saline contrast studies. The department is supported by a dedicated cardiac ultrasound educator and chief sonographer. We utilize EMR systems and specific echo equipment. This position may require floating to other locations within the region. We maintain a patient and family-focused culture, emphasizing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
