The facility includes two Echo Suites and two TEE rooms, with the expectation to provide care to inpatients at bedside. The average patient volume is 40-60 patients per day. Candidates should have experience with adult and pediatric patients, along with common cardiac conditions. The role involves supporting a large structural cardiac program and performing various procedures, including pre/post care for catheterizations and surgeries. The Cardiac Sonographer must be adept at performing preliminary findings and documenting results in a modifiable report for physician review. The ability to collaborate with other Echo Technicians, cardiologists, and rapid response teams is crucial. On-call duties may be required, with one night call shift per week expected and potential holiday coverage. The schedule will involve a modified self-schedule with requests submitted for approval.
