Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit RN requiring 2+ years of hospital experience and cardiovascular background for a night shift assignment in Fort Worth, TX.

Details

• Work in the CV PCU (4W & 4E) of a hospital setting
• Cares for cardiovascular patients including cardiac cath and post-op CABG procedures
• Shift schedule is 7P-7A with every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Uses Meditech documentation system
• Float to sister step-down unit and med-surg units with reduced assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required
• Cardiovascular experience required
• Meditech experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide RN-level care to cardiovascular PCU patients undergoing cardiac caths and post-op CABG recovery
• Scrub color is royal blue with facility embroidery
• Nails must be clean and healthy with no artificial enhancements
• Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder-length or longer when working in the lab
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
• Body art should be covered whenever feasible
• Facility attendance policy applies
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
