Skill Set Most recruited for: Experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Technologists with open-heart surgery experience.
Must Have
Candidates without these skills will not be considered:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
BLS
CVOR/Open Heart Surgery scrub experience
Experience with cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
Ability to take call and respond within required timeframe
Dress Code:
Scrub Color/Attire - hospital provides scrubs
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
Must participate in scheduled call rotation.
Must maintain competencies for cardiovascular surgical procedures.
Must be able to work independently in a high-acuity CVOR setting.
Weekends and On call(if any)
Weekends and On Call (if any)
Regular Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
On-Call Requirements
Some Thursday call coverage required.
Monthly call rotation of approximately 10-12 call days per month.
Weekend call is rotated among team members.
Must be able to report within established call-back response time.
