Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring MA licensure and prior CT/CVICU experience at a Level 1 trauma facility.

Details

  • Work in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU), a specialized high-acuity unit
  • Provides 24-hour monitoring and advanced care for patients recovering from complex heart, lung, and vascular surgeries or severe cardiac/respiratory conditions
  • 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights), 36 hours per week
  • No floating or charge responsibilities required
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required in hand
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
  • Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience with at least 2 years in CT/CVICU required
  • Level 1 trauma center experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

  • Provide advanced critical care to patients recovering from cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries or severe cardiac/respiratory conditions
  • Weekly orientation provided
  • Any color scrubs permitted
  • Must complete Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing (for Milton and Plymouth campuses)
  • COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, medical exemptions allowed
  • Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius
  • Previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility must have a 6+ month break before returning
