Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) Nurse in Portland. This role involves delivering specialized, high-quality nursing care to patients in the cardiovascular intensive care unit. The position requires supervising and coordinating activities of the nursing team, employing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; acute care facility experience preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS required.
  • Additional Information: The nurse will collect relevant patient data, analyze assessment information, develop and implement care plans, evaluate progress, and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, ongoing care. Responsibilities include discharge planning, delegation, and providing health education. All staff must adhere to organizational vaccination policies.
