Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular registered nurse (RN) Night/Mid shifts located in an organization providing specialized cardiac postoperative care. This position involves managing patients immediately post-op following open heart surgery, with responsibilities including hemodynamic stabilization and medication management in a high-acuity environment.

- Required Qualifications: RN license valid in MD or a valid Compact License, BLS, CPI, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, 3 years of ICU experience, experience with direct care of open heart patients immediately post-op, proficiency with Epic charting system
- Preferred Qualifications: OCN certification, Trauma Level II experience, additional trauma or community hospital background, prior travel experience not required but preferred
- Additional Information: The role involves caring for postoperative cardiac surgery patients (CABG, MVR, AVR), managing hemodynamic instability, inotropic support, ECMO, and other advanced cardiac therapies. Float to MSICU required, on-call responsibilities up to 36 hours per schedule, and potential flexibility in weekend and holiday scheduling.
