The position offers a dynamic environment focused on critical patient management, with opportunities for float rotations to related units as needed.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of Oklahoma, two years of ICU experience, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing arterial lines, chest tubes, ventilated patients, central lines, and CVA/acute stroke management; familiarity with continuous IV sedation, CVVHD/CRRT, Impella, and dysrhythmia interpretation
  • Additional Information: The ICU covers a diverse patient population, including cardiac surgical and medical patients, with occasional adult medical overflow. The unit has interdisciplinary support teams including IV, respiratory, and pharmacy services. Floating to other ICU units such as Medical Surgical ICU, Neuro ICU, and Burn ICU may be required based on facility needs. Orientation will be provided on the unit, with modules completed onsite during orientation hours.
