Job Summary
The organization is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) Nurse for a Night shift position. The role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, with a focus on cardiac surgical and medical patients, including occasional adult medical Intensive Care Unit overflow. The position requires providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

- Location: Not specified (general healthcare provider setting)
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications; valid RN license (OK or compact); 2 years minimum ICU experience; experience with arterial line management, ventilated patient care, central line care, CVA/Acute Stroke management, and other critical care skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with chest tube insertion/removal, blood product administration, CVVHD/CRRT, Impella, dysrhythmias interpretation, procedural sedation, and management of multisystem organ failure.
- Additional Information: The unit welcomes first-time travelers with strong ICU experience, and the role may include floating to Medical-Surgical ICU, Neuro ICU, or Burn ICU if needed. Night shift requires working every other weekend. Short brief orientation provided onsite.
